Broom Fendley Salmon have a wealth of design experience in a broad range of sectors. We have undertaken design work on domestic properties, healthcare facilities, offices, schools, conversions and equestrian facilities.
We have navigated both simple and challenging planning applications to attain approvals, gained Listed Building Consents, dealt with Biodiversity Nett Gain and acted as Principal Designer for Building Regulations Applications.

Overview
We provide design services for residential, commercial, educational and healthcare settings.
We also provide advice and design service for rural estate buildings and facilities, such as barns, stabling and sand schools.
We work closely with our clients to ensure our design solutions both meet their brief and are compliant with legislative and technical standards.
Planning and Listed Building Consents
We are highly experience in dealing with both Planning and Listed Building Legislation. We work closely with both Planning Officers and Conservations Officers to ensure the design proposals are compliant with planning policy and sympathetic to the existing built environment. With the mandatory requirement to improve the environment following development, we are able to undertake biometric assessments of the development site and prepare a compliance plan for the Biodiversity Net Gain requirements.
Building Regulations
Our technical design experience enables us to produce detailed drawings relating to the construction processes, these are used to demonstrate compliance with the various sections of the Building Regulations. We undertake the role of Principal Designer under the regulations, monitoring the project through the construction phase to ensure that everything is built to meet the Approved Documents.

Regulations 2015
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations are applicable to all construction projects, no matter what size. We act as Principal Designer under the legislation and support our client's with their responsibilities. We actively engage with all parties involved in the project to enable compliance with the regulations throughout the project and aim for all statutory documentation to be provided at completion.
